ABOUT THE BRAND
Finsbury was born in the Northampton region of England, renowned as the birthplace of Goodyear welted shoes. Founded by Jean-Pierre Dahan and David Cohen, the brand first established itself in France, in Paris, in 1986. The founders’ motto was to position Finsbury as the ultimate competitive brand on the market by offering high-end shoes for less than 1000 French francs. Quickly, the brand became the new leader in high-end Goodyear welted men’s shoes.
ABOUT ARNAUD BRUILLON
In 1994, Arnaud Bruillon discovered the Finsbury brand while working part-time as a sales assistant. A motivated and dynamic collaborator, he quickly caught the attention of the founders, Mr. Dahan and Mr. Cohen. During these years, Arnaud Bruillon nurtured his love for the craftsmanship and elegance of men’s shoes. He then climbed the ranks and became responsible for several stores. In 2000, he seized the opportunity to become the first franchisee of Finsbury at the Petits Champs store in Paris. Building on this success, he went on to open 7 more stores between 2000 and 2010.
Naturally, Arnaud Bruillon became involved in the acquisition of the Finsbury brand in 2010. He expressed a unique vision for the brand: to translate the legacy of a house founded on craftsmanship and tradition, driven by creative passion. He quickly structured the Finsbury brand and offered franchise opportunities to external partners to expand into many French cities. Finsbury’s success is built on impeccable customer service, expert advice, and high-quality products that are chic, comfortable, and in tune with the times.
